ok, so i went out with the guy from the tattoo shop last nite, it was awesome, we just sat around and had really good conversation. and then when i left he..... shook my hand?? is that weird to anybody else? he told me to call him tonite but i am very confused by this handshake.
alright i must be going, its turning into evening and i have a lot of drugs to do before the sun rises.
and then im making that five hour drive to chicago... there must be something pretty good there, huh?

I would say that he's either:
1) Viewing you as a close, but platonic friend
or;
2) Being careful and taking his time.
If it's #2, there could be any number of reasons for this. My only advice is to try not to assume or expect too much, and continue forward in an "effortless" way.
