i just woke up.... this site is completely fucking up my sleep cycle. i cant seem to stop looking at it until 4 or 5 in the morning.
ive got a project due tomorrow. its a self portrait, which i really dont mind working on, so its not so bad. its just a matter of mustering up enough willpower to get my ass off of here and onto the drawing table. boooooo
last nite was fun, i wish i could have actually stayed out though, instead of coming home at 12.
this is probably really lame, but... my little sister erin is pretty much the only person i hang out with, shes my best girl friend, and i have more fun with her than anyone else in this world. but shes 17, a senior in high school, and shes grounded until she graduates. grounded, yes. my parents are a bit old-fashioned. and they really love jesus. a lot. erins a bit of a wild child so after getting in trouble for the same things about 800 times, they just decided shes not allowed to leave the house except for school and work, and occasionally to do things with me. is that weird? cause i dont really think it is, i mean ive grown up this way. but some people think its very odd. ehhh, oh well. anyways, so yeah, i love this girl and i feel horrible going out and doing things while shes stuck at home by herself all nite.
we went to the jazz dance thing last nite and, of course, everyone wanted to go back to jeeves' house and whatnot.... but erin had to go straight home. and i just cant spend all nite partying with our friends when she cant be there. lame - yes, maybe. but the girl will be graduating in the spring, i can handle taking a couple of months out of my life to be there for my baby sister.
my life was the same way when i was in high school (remember, the parental issues) so i spent my first year out of school doing nothing but partying, staying out for days at a time, always waking up in a weird place.... it amazes me that some people do that for years?? i was sick of it after just one. now, i am pretty content staying home most nites with erin and annie, getting high and watching tivo-ed adult swim and the oc.... its not a bad life, especially when youre with the people you love

and here we are with erins boy, jeeves. seriously, i know. hes wearing jeans and a polo. he cant dress himself. i even went into that boys house to try to find him something to wear - trust me, he owns nothing but jeans and ts.
but i dont care, the kid is cool as fuck. im so glad erins got a good one. oh my god, after the jazz thing was over, jeeves got on the piano and played a bit for us. it was AMAZING. he is an incredible pianist, and we all had no idea. he only plays classical, and apparently (annie said) the pieces he was playing are really difficult ones. and he only plays by ear. it was the hottest thing ever. wow.
