perhaps more than i have ever wanted anything in my life

except when i was 13 and desperately wanted to move to bremerton, washington and marry tom wisniewski





i just finished knitting the warmest scarf known to man
it is double thick cream-colored wool in stockinette stitch and long enough to wrap around my neck several times
and though it will look absolutely fabulous on me
i cant help but think that it is very much a boy scarf
my point being
that i need a scarf boyfriend
a relationship built solely on knitted neck ornamentation
i just want a boy to knit scarves for
oh, and also to kiss



its picking time
and my kitchen counter looks like this:






soon they will be plowing the fields
and i will have my favorite front porch rocking chair view back
but i will miss hearing the stalks move in the wind



my parents got a pool
and on my week off i spent nearly every afternoon on a raft
with a glass of wine
and a cigarette
listening to motown
i felt like a god


so its back to going days and days without seeing anyone but my cats and the kids at work
everything is so quiet
and i rarely speak to anyone over the age of 9
i think its making me socially retarded
im really not sure how much longer i can live here


i hate everyone who has a digital slr
i like to think that im a purist
but the truth is that i am probably just jealous


i took some photos at the summer program i worked at, they are here, since posting other peoples children on sg just seems very wrong
photobucket made them tiny, but i am really not down with addressing the issue right now



today a little boy told me that my nose piercings are 'disgusting'
he may be right
