NEWS!

I not only got approved for the apartment, but have already moved in and adopted two kitties! We have an ugly orange couch, DSL (after a month of back and forth phone calls with the assholes at Verizon), and a brick and board bookcase already in need of expansion. Things are going well. I even have a car now. Mobility rocks.

Yeah, just the one thing we were going to invite you to for SGLBC, but for the fact that they're pretty stringent on the whole ID check thing.

Actually, there isn't a whole lot we do in Long Beach that isn't 21+. If you have any ideas, let me or Kiddo know. Otherwise, I'd keep my eyes open for an SGLA open event. There are a lot more private parties, 18+ clubs, dinner events and that sort of thing up there. The last one SGLA had was a goth/industrial night called Wumpskate at a rollerskating rink up there, but that was a while ago. I'll let you know if one comes up.

You ever go to any LA/Hollywood clubs?

Oh, and congrats on the apartment. Whereabouts are you at now?

Yeah, where'd you find your apartment? I'm looking for a new one...

Also, I'm thinking of planning an outing to the Pike (gameworks, cold stone creamery, the new cinemark theater) and maybe going down to Shoreline Village. That'll definitely be all ages. smile

My apartment gets approved/disapproved on Monday. I'm so excited. I really, really hope we get it. I want to move in asap. And get kitties!

I had a dream that I became a suicidegirl the other night. They were aparently starting up suicideboys, too. And a couple of girls were dropping out. It was a little bit sad.

Looking for an internship in the film industry...writing a resume makes me feel inexperienced, and cover letters are too tough to sound original.

Also, looking for an apartment...I only wish I could find one with everything I really want...washer/dryer, fridge, stove, dishwasher. I think i'll end up with a studio with only a stove and fridge....oh well.

yeah i know the feeling with the resumes. now i have a job and i swear my boss never even read it.

OK, tomorrow, is a trip up to Hollywood for me, and a couple of friends from film school. I'm so excited to be purchasing my first roll of 16mm film (320T), and supplies for my film. Wish me luck!

A funny occurrence: my mother contacted me today, because my little brother recieved a minor in consumption. She wanted me to figure out a punishment for him.

err. Now I f'd up the friend device and deleted you. Please add me again.

But hey, congratulations on making it into intermediate. It's all downhill from here. Some... most would disagree but I thought 309 was the most fun one could have in film school. Oh, and a word of advice: start writing your script for your advanced film NOW.

It's a shame you couldnt' make it to any screenings, even your own, though I am pleased you didn't see my film - the bane of my existence. Though I have a music video up my sleeve I'll be editing this semester. Hopefully you'll like that.

ouch, today i awoke unable to move my neck. excruciating pain greeted my every movement, but somehow i managed to roll out of bed. after some small movements, some tears, and the worst teeth-brushing experience i have ever had, my neck regained some motion, but only on one side. i type to you now without the ability to look over my right shoulder. still painful.

oo-ray! I now have a friend.

Good luck w/ getting into 336. I hope I get to see your films in the future.

Did you go to the Showcase?
bean:
Wow, that sounds really insanely painful. Whatever was causing that, I hope it's better now.

I have the same question ZoeNecrosis did right up above there about CSULB. Those pics look an awful lot like they were taken in the dorms. Interesting.

So I recieved a lovely email from a lovely person who urged me to open a journal entry for commentary...so here it is. Maybe I'll attempt to write a real one later.
