I just finished Whores and Other Feminists by Jill Nagle, as well as Cat's Cradle by Vonnegut and Soul on Ice by Eldridge Cleaver. All excellent. I'm about to start In Watermelon Sugar by Brautigan.

For those of you living in Long Beach, coming up soon, you will be able to view some art some friends and I installed into the streets. Right now, they...

Hey, you! How's SF treating ya?

I miss you a lot. Saw your friend Karen at Fern's the other night, but I think Nick and I scared her off. Tell her we said sorry!

Holy crap, I'm graduating, and with honors, no less. I'm finally fucking finished. In other news, I finally finished a few books I've been trying to read for months - Ishtar Rising by Robert Anton Wilson, and a bunch of short stories by de Sade. de Sade was great - first was the Misfortunes of Virtue, actually a novel, I guess, but I prefer the...

Holy crap has the last month been busy. I've pretty much been working 72 hr weeks, since I have shoots 3 days (12+ hrs, each), school and work combined two days (12 hrs) and work or school two days (8 hrs). So, its been fun. Now, I'm nearly done, graduating at the end of the month, and ready to relax.

The most recent readings include: Reading Rodney King, Reading Urban Uprising; Queer Theory, an introduction and Ishtar Rising (Robert Anton Wilson). Finished Cunt and Remaking Love: The Feminization of Sex, both were excellent. Working on a paper on Camp and its Orientation within Queer Cinema. Still doing research on my paper on Lesbian Pornography, though maybe I should think about putting this site into it....

Finished Breakfast of Champions last week, and Vice Versa this week. Both great, in very different ways - Breakfast - really entertaining, Vice Versa - excruciatingly academic, but thoroughly insightful. Started a couple new books, so I'm still around the 5 book arena. Right now its - Cunt, Handmaid's Tale, Remaking Love: the Feminization of Sex, God's Country: A Case Against Theocracy, and I'm about...

hey you,

i was just reading your post in sgsf-- funny, i'm also thinking of getting a PhD in sexology... though I'm really not sure. I'd rather go to Berkeley for sociology, but I could never get in there. Anyway--

Still reading lots, having exchanged books, but not finished any of the original lot - Vice Versa: Bisexuality and the Eroticism of Everyday Life, Cunt, Breakfast of Champions, and God's Country: A Case Against Theocracy. Now I'm also reading Promiscuities, by Naomi Wolf, which is about the hyposcrisy associated with female sexuality. Its the best read I've had in a while. In the mean time,...

Finished reading Rules of Attraction, by Bret Easton Ellis. I still don't know about the ending, whether or not I like it and everything.

I'm still reading like four books - Vice Versa: Bisexuality and the Eroticism of Everyday Life, Cunt, Breakfast of Champions, and God's Country: A Case Against Theocracy. Thats what I get for working at a bookstore.

I have been a bad user, for not blogging. To be completely honest, I suck at journalling. So little goes on that is noteworthy. Anyway, I'll give it a shot.

Went to Shal's b-day party last night. Super fun, with cute girls galore. Also, Mikee made friends, and I think he will finally get an account.

Today, a man had a near heart attack in...

"Certainly no aspect of human biology in our current civilization stands in more history of scientific knowledge and courageous humility than that of sex. The history of medicine proves that in so far as man seeks to know himself and face his whole nature, he has become free from bewildered fear, despondent shame, or arrogant hypocrisy. As long as sex is dealt with in the...

And lets hear it for human dignity.

Indecently, it is quite rare to encounter someone with the fortitude to match the eyebrows to the hair. Go you.
