I just finished Whores and Other Feminists by Jill Nagle, as well as Cat's Cradle by Vonnegut and Soul on Ice by Eldridge Cleaver. All excellent. I'm about to start In Watermelon Sugar by Brautigan.
For those of you living in Long Beach, coming up soon, you will be able to view some art some friends and I installed into the streets. Right now, they are still obscured by tar paper, but eventually that will crack and wear away. You can find them at MLK + 10th, Junipero + Ocean, Junipero + 1st, and Elm + 1st. Look for them in and around crosswalks.
