Holy crap has the last month been busy. I've pretty much been working 72 hr weeks, since I have shoots 3 days (12+ hrs, each), school and work combined two days (12 hrs) and work or school two days (8 hrs). So, its been fun. Now, I'm nearly done, graduating at the end of the month, and ready to relax.
I finally finished Reading Rodney King, Reading Urban Uprising. I'm really interested on individual narratives, memories, or experiences with the Rodney King Riots, so if anyone reads this and has one, please post or email.
I gave up on God's Country, A Case Against Theocracy. It was really poorly written, and I just couldn't read any more of it. It was awful.
I started Soul on Ice, by Eldridge Cleaver, one of the originators of the Black Panthers. I'm really interested in them right now, too. I'm looking out for copies of Assata and Soledad Brother.
