I need to update, but I have no particularly interesting news.

I am bored at home by myself, baking potatoes and yams for gnocchi, prepping creme brulee, and procrastinating returning rented movies and buying some ingredients.

I finally finished Anais Nin's Incest and Diary 1, which is very reassuring. Next on the reading list is Last Exit to Brooklyn, Hubert Selby Junior.

I've watched some good movies lately. Punk: Attitude was quite good, and featured really insightful commentary from Jim Jarmusch and Mary Harron. The Five Obstructions, Barry Lyndon, and Before Night Falls were all exceptional, and Videodrome was pretty good too.
