Wow, I've been busy lately. Tonight is the first time in a week that I've been able to just sit and relax. So, now I'm FINALLY getting around to saying thanks to everyone who wished me well on my birthday. I appreciate it a lot, especially since many of the people whom I consider to be my best friends forgot. I know that I'm way over here and they're way over there, so I'm trying not to be hurt or offended.
My best friend has hardly spoken to me in the past six months, and it's really starting to hurt. I know that time zones prevent us from really being able to talk on the phone, but an occasional email would be nice. I'm starting to notice that she only contacts me now when she's between boyfriends. I'm tired of always being the one to try to make contact. At what point should one say "fuck it, you're not worth it" and just stop trying?
At least I've got the bestestest girlfriend ever. She built a new CPU for me. The only computer I've ever used was my old one; I got it when I was 18 and it was already a few years old. Wow, they've really improved these things. I can do two things at once without my whole system crashing! That means I can have a Word document AND SG going at once. Procrastination has never been easier!

Be where and when you are with whomever you're with. Be happy to see her when you do, and forget her when you don't. That's what I do.
