No consolation at all, Baby! I'm back at work, too, and my days this week are chock-a-block with nutjobs from the community and schizoid homeless men asking crazy questions all day long because the students haven't come back yet. At least in the classroom you don't have random people popping by and expecting you to know more than they do about their favorite obsessions or asking to buy your books from you -- for a sizeable donation to the University, of course -- because their great, great-grandparents, whom they'll be delighted to tell you all about before you even consider asking, are on pages 35-37 inclusive... I'm sure I'll be chewing my own ears off by the end of the week just to escape the inane questions.
