Woo hoo! Olympics! Sports 24-7! But WHY do they televise rowing at 2-5am?! It's not the most exciting sport to watch, granted, but neither is the freakin' shot put. And rowers tend to be nicer on the eyes . . .
So, the Olympic coverage has (a) deprived me of sleep and (b) motivated me to get off my ass and onto my erg. I WILL become a rowing goddess once again.
In other news, I Met The Parents. I was pleasantly surprised . . . it's actually quite a painless process when they don't speak English. All I had to do was eat & smile.
