I find it hard to become part of "the community" here because I'm a listener by nature . . . I just feel odd running around and randomly interjecting into ongoing dialogues. Then again, I was raised with the "be seen not heard" philosophy. Eh.
So, I've got my first girlfriend, officially. It's interesting to see all the little ways I have to be "careful" as opposed to when I have boyfriends. Like "girls' night out." Can I bring the gal, or do I go with the general understanding of "let's go out and pretend we're single." Hmmm.

I think it's better to be a listener. I've had to force myself to be more participating with the on goings of the site because I'm also one to just stand in the back and observe. You learn a lot as a wallflower.
