I'm feeling very stream of consciousness right now.

I am also an emotional blob.

The best movies always make me feel to the extreme.
And knowing that I still watched Requiem for a Dream and Garden State.
I was really in the mood for some darkness and I thought I'd counter that with some light.
Polar-fucking-opposites
Wow.
Requiem made me totally shut down.
Yeah, It was that good. So good it depressed me to my very core.
Hard on the eyes. And the head.
It's only the second time I've watched it so... Maybe over time it will lessen to the point where its not soooo intense but still intense enough to "enjoy".

Garden State on the other hand... love love love love Zack Braf.
I don't even know how to describe that movie. I cried the first time I watched that too.
I also shut down, but not for the same reasons. I mean it was a sweet bittersweet kinda thing.

If anybody understands what the hell that means; hats off to you and I want to have your children.

But I digress...

I should have bought that Scrubs box set.

So now how do I balance out the emotional draining of my tear ducts?

Catwoman, which I hear is godawful. Which may be perfect.
Or Saved, which is just a great movie.

Goddamn Blockbuster and their 3 for $25.

That reminds me I have to go back and get Coffee and Cigarettes, Thirteen, and some other third movie I haven't thought of yet.

I did CCS a longtime ago... If you didn't catch my age. wink

That said.. It's not cheap. Also... I was in industrial design, not graphics. The graphics program is pretty good, as far as I know. What specific information do you want to know. I can ask friends of mine that are faculty there...

Do EVERYTHING possible to get yourself in a good school. It's a very worthwhile investment in yourself to get the best education you possibly can. The better the students you have in your classes, the more likely you are to raise your game to compete, Conversally, if you aren't measuring up to the best around, that will be very clear early on in your education and you can change course sooner...thus saving you money in the long run... not to mention the likely heartache of not getting a job at the end. Also... the faculty tends to be better at schools with a good rep in a particular field. That can be worth gold... smile

Anything else? biggrin
