How the hell is someone who is serverly depressed, desparately broke, and in need of counciling and medication get where they need to be?

God knows I don't have the money to help him. This needs to be nipped. Nipped square in the ass.

Not sure if this helps, but I work in a low income all in one type clinic that had mental health experts too, I'm sure Detroit has a better set up than bum fuck Baltimore. We're really flexible regarding payment, at least 3/4 of our patients don't pay us at all.
For someone with no money and in need of psychiatric help, it's probably your best bet. Let me know if you need help finding a good one in Detroit, I can ask around where I work.
