I took the exam that I've been studying for for weeks today. You don't find out your official score until 5 weeks after taking but when I finished I got a printout saying "a preliminary analysis of your test results shows that you were not successful in achieving the passing score" blah blah blah. It really sucks because I felt like I was doing really well. I had to be really close. If I was then there is still a small chance I'll pass because a pass/fail is based on your percentile, not your actual score. I only got about 100 of the 300 recommended hours of study time for the test which sounds like an excuse but really it was just going to be something for me to brag about. I guess it will just be an excuse now.
Anyway, I found $15 at the bottom of my apartment's pool the other day. That was exciting. I was just walking by to check my mail before going to my friend's kickball game and there it was. So she decided to skip her game and we just went to the pool instead and got the money out.
Since my birthday earlier this month I've been doing a picture-a-day thing. The plan was to take one picture a day of something I did, something I saw, or whatever. Some of them are of people, some are taken when I feel like trying to be artistic, some are just taken because I hadn't taken a picture yet and the day was almost over, but most of my pictures have been pretty boring since I spent all my time studying for that damn waste-of-time test. Now that it's over though I'm hoping I'll be able to start getting some more interesting pictures. I've been posting them each day on Flickr but I figured I'd post a few on here:
8-11-07: My sister just turned 18 a few weeks before this and this is her getting her first tattoo.
8-18-07: This is one of my artistic attempts. I'm no photographer or anything but I like how it came out.
8-21-07: I really like this picture of one of my cats looking at her reflection in one of my guitars. Her name is Lady Fingers, in case anyone is curious.
8-23-07: And just so my other cat won't be jealous, here's a picture of her. Her name Blackie. This is what she does every time I take a shower.

holy crap your cat on the door is so funny. soo wish i was a cat haha. sorry to hear about your exam.. who knows maybe the print out was wrong and you did so well you broke it! hehe
