Well done to Brighton Animal Actionfor finding new homes for 7 1/2 thousand battery chickens.
I'm having to consider getting some from The Hen House because I'm a day late!
And they (BAA) were only aloud to take the quota given, yesterday, for which they all had new homes waiting, ahh.
When we get our lake dug ( dug it is ) but no planning permission to fill etc., we may have to consider other birds too. I am happy we have so much wildlife, awallows returning, dear in full sight, buzzards and grouse, rats and a visiting neighbours dog mm. Can't wait to get back, and off the Net to finish my green living roof amongst other projects.
