Well that was weird...
So I met the ex today and was all very matey but one thing lead to another, we did a lot of serious talking and now we are in some strange kind of place that I have never been before with a woman. I don't feel scared this time round, just, well, confused I think.
We are going to keep seeing each other, but we're not together. We slept together and we may do so again, but we're not together. We know we care for each other a lot and want to see each other for quite a long time, but we're not together.
On paper this should be every guys dream, but in reality I seem to have become a kind of guy that I hate. The one who strings along a girl until he is ready to commit. Only I am not really stringing her along. I have been really honest with her about everything, sometimes saying things that were really hard to say as I know they stung her more than a little. She says she is okay with the way things are now and she seems to be fine but I am sceptical.
Here's my question. Do I take her at her word or do I go with my instincts, which make me think she is not being totally honest? I can usually read her like a book and that reading tells me she is being honest but I am still not totally sure. This is all a very new thing to me.
