2 weeks into culinary school. I'm liking it so far. Getting comfortable with my knife. Cut some sweet tournes while practicing last night.
I'd say I'm somewhat familiar with the downtown Portland area now. I still need to explore outside the city though. I have no idea how to spend my free time. I've been looking up venues in the area. There's a lot of shows I'm looking forward to catching. Next weekend I'll be seeing Broken Social Scene at the Crystal Ballroom.
Seems Seattle is the place to go for a lot of stuff though. I'll need to find the time to head up there.
