Well, there's not much to live for anymore. I'm sure she had good reasons to leave. She thinks for herself. That's a rarity.
I've had my favorites leave before, but this one is the most shocking.

Spending the holidays with the family, minus one. My old man left for Guam this morning. He wont be back till May, or something like that. He was supposedly done with TDYs too. Now it's just being called "helping out at another base for a while"

Still haven't tried the absinth. I'm waiting for things to normalize. Everyone seems to have their own fished-up issues lately. I've learned that alcohol, when drinken in excess, will bring out the worst in people.
Given that my absinth is 70% alcohol, and contains thujone on top of that, I think it's a good choice to wait a while.
