As much as I'm loving 'playing mom' to my new pup, I'm really not loving the mess & fuss of toilet training & the chewing of everything that goes along with it whatever I've literally sprouted grey hairs overnight! Lee & I thought we'd be 'clever' by doing the puppy thing first. You know - get us nice & prepared for kids one day...But after a...

your pup is cute.. however.. from experience i know what pups can be like.
wink
navanod:
The puppy looks cute, to be honest house training takes a bit of patience and practice, we also went through hell the first six months, we have slowly taken control by following a routine of feeding and going to the toilet and it seems to have worked for us.

We have three dogs, two spaniels "Chucky and Fidget" and a chocolate lab "Zoey" they are our babies. We would love to have more I would like to get another lab and Jo-Anne wants a Great Dane but knowing us we will probably get both, our Dogs are inside dogs they have there own bedroom in the house and are allowed anywhere they want, even on the couches, my house probably stinks of dogs but I don't notice, I feel sorry for the person that tries to break into our house when we have all five dogs.

On Saturday night I experienced my first bona fide blackout. Not merely 'passing out', but actual alcohol related amnesia. I am so embarrassed & ashamed. Not to mention rather freaked out shocked

According to some research I've done online, blackouts can be divided into two categories:

1. "En bloc" blackouts are classified by the inability to later recall any memories from the intoxicated period, even when...

I have only ever blacked out once and it was the first and last time it ever happened, fuelled with way to much bourbon then was offered a "herbal remedy drink" from moon flowers, I lost the plot don't remember a frikkin thing 6 years later it is still a blank, really stupid. Everyone said I was the life of the party just don't remember it.

But many times I drove home way too wasted, luckily nothing happened but I shudder to think there are other people on the road that are in the state I used to drive home, and that now freaks me out.

Try be safe, your new baby looks incredible real babe magnet.

ive had plenty of #1's and even more of the #2's. i wont go into detail about them. biggrin good luck with the potty training. that, to me, is the hardest part of having a pet.

I've said it before but I'll say it again: I'm getting increasingly pissed off by & intolerant of all the lurkers out there. Energy vampires. You know who you are!! People who read other people's blogs, peruse their pix, but then are too damn lazy to leave a comment in return. All community networking sites I belong to seem to be full of them. Sad,...

Yesterday turned out to be a 14-hour drinking marathon (11am to 1am): 3 x beers at our friends', Warren & Yolanda's, middle daughter's 4th birthday party, followed by 2 x gin & tonics, 3 x glasses of red wine AND a whiskey before, during & after supper at our mates', Nick & Natasha's, place shocked My poor, poor liver blush But last week was a particularly hectic...

hey there..

house appears to be coming on nicely... great pic from doors!

i am still getting used to complex life, having lived in the burbs all my life... not as easy as one would image mostly due to the "human element" because some ppl just dont see things the way we do, do they?

are we still on for a SGZA get together at the end of June?

smile

a french and german couple. what a funny mix. that house is going to look awesome. im happy for you. you two look good partying together. if i was to take a picture of me partying i would be sitting on the couch watching the history channel with a bunch of empties in front of me. i dont go out much. i usually dont talk to the neighbors so ive never had a fight with them.
