In talking about the building, the engineer says: "The project commenced in 1991 & was completed in 1992. The house is based on eight columns with a ring-beam on top, keeping it in place. The very distinct aerodynamic shape with its elliptic centre dome is in stark contrast with the immediate environment. However, through a 320 view in all four wind directions over the mountain range, it establishes a balance between the fauna & flora, & the development of modern man.
