They say a change is as good as a holiday, but I must be honest, I preferred the old-look SG. This is the 2nd major change they've made this year alone, & frankly I find it rather disruptive.
On another note entirely, my sister-in-law is pregnant again! This'll be their 2nd child. My nephew, Aidan, will be 3 this coming August (he shares a birthday with Madonna). I personally can't imagine coping with 1 child (both financially & energy-wise) in this day & age - never mind TWO!!
On Sunday we went up to Pretoria for a friend's 30th birthday braai (BBQ), & there were at least half a dozen rugrats to keep us entertained. Although all terribly cute & well-behaved, I can only handle little ones in small doses. After a 6-pack of Heinekins each, it was sheer bliss for me & Lee to be able to come home & just pass out at 7pm. With a couple of mini-me's in tow, that simply would not have been possible.
