Today I posted off my letter of resignation. We've got an overnight courier service between our Jo'burg & Cape Town branches. Although my boss will only see it on her desk on Monday (she's in the US at the moment on conference), I simply couldn't wait another day. Things have really come to a head in the office & I feel like I'm about to explode...
I have just been miserable at work for far too long now. The stress is so bad I've broken out in yet ANOTHER damn cold sore (my 4th or 5th one this year!). I cannot WAIT to start my new career with the model agency, & to try my hand at some freelance magazine journalism. You know, doing stuff that I'm good at, & that I really enjoy. This corporate rat race is for the birds, I tell you!
N-E-way, I'm outa here. Gotta leave now, lest I hit the worst of that goddamn rush-hour traffic
