One of our good friends, Sc@ry-Jane, is coming up from Durbs to fetch her wedding dress this weekend. (She & Del-Boy - also a good mate of ours - are tying the knot on 9th September). Sc@ry is coming partying with us at Zeplin's this Saturday night. Can hardly wait!! Just hope she's been eating. Not so long ago she fell into a really bad way with anorexia / bulimiia, & it broke my heart to see such a beautiful girl wasting away. Then apparently she 'came right', but I've been hearing rumours she's sliding backwards again...


This is not my friend, just one of the worst anorexic pix I've ever seen. It really freaks me out, as I'm sure it does you, too eeek

I dunno, for someone like me, who just LOVES her food, I could seriously never imagine being that way confused But then again, I do know that it's as much a mental disease as a physical one. And for someone who suffers from chronic depression (thank God for therapy & meds!), I should probably be more understanding blush

Going to go pick up a pair of Sissy Boy shoes now, from the Prato shop in Sandton City which kindly had them sent through from another branch for me. YEY!!

What scares me is the fact that a lot of today's so-called "models" actually ,well, almost look like that.
Oh oh.... and welcome to the depressed club! My therapy is my wife, she's the only one (or thing) that can brighten up my day. love biggrin

Are they the shoes that were advertisied in the Edgars Club Magazine? The very pointy patent stiletto's? I want those!! I could neva be an ana, food is my favourite thing ( besides my man of course but it's a very close second!)
