Today has started out just as badly as yesterday

I've just received my latest salary slip & am REALLY not happy with my pathetic excuse for an annual increase...

The amount I clear is only R455 more than I used to, which equates to a measly 4% increase on my nett salary. What a fucking insult. For those of you unfamiliar with the value of the South African Rand (ZAR), R455 can nowadays probably only buy me a tank-&-a-half of petrol (fuel). And I drive a small European car!!

Now I'm even MORE determined to make Edge Models work & get my ass outa this godforsaken place I know that with a pinch of luck & a truckload of hard work, I can build for myself a successful little empire - doing something that I am truly passionate about, & (hopefully) earn TWICE what I am earning now. This particular salary slip has really put things into perspective for me: I am now certain of where my career priorities lie.

Below is a pic of one of the girls from my first test shoot. Isn't she a darling I should be receiving all the rest on CD from my genius photographer, Sean, by the end of the week. I plan to upload the best ones to my site this weekend.
