Called in "sick" today - with a sore throat & swollen glands. The truth is, I'm staying home to catch up on housework. I'll be damned if I'm spending Good Friday doing frickin laundry 
Our maid usually comes in half-day twice a week - Tuesdays & Fridays. After her taxi accident yesterday, she was eventually treated & discharged from hospital last night. I told her she must stay home & rest, & only needs to come back to work after the Easter weekend. Hopefully her legs will be nicely on the mend & she'll be feeling stronger by then.
I've got 3 loads to do today, plus a mountain of dishes. And I'd like to cook my Lee-Boy a hot supper as well. With our hectic working hours, we end up practically living on takeaways. (We have to leave here by 6:15am to beat the worst of the rush-hour traffic, & usually only get home around 6pm, so the last thing we wanna do when we walk through that door in the evenings is start cooking!)
Anyway, inbetween all my chores I've got my book to read & some cool programmes on telly to watch
