Is anyone out there as freaked out as I am about the fact that fuckhead Osama bin Laden is STILL out there, apparently alive & friggin' kicking!?! I read on news24.com today that his latest threat, made in an audiotape broadcast over TV station, al-Jazeera, marks the first time that he has been heard from in over a year, his silence adding to feverish speculation about his fate. The voice on the tape was authenticated by the CIA. He apparently offered the American people a conditional 'long term truce' which was, unsurprisingly, flatly rejected by Washington.
Another headline that caught my attention - this time on a much happier note! - was the awesome news of Angelina being officially pregnant with Brad's baby!! Here's the cover of next week's HUISgenoot magazine (it's the sister publication to YOU magazine & appears in Afrikaans, as opposed to English. Afrikaans is my second language; you'll notice it is very similar to Dutch):
And onto another subject altogether: I just thought I'd let you know that I have FINALLY decided to get my first tattoo!! To commemorate my friendship with Angie. I know it's something she would've LOVED me to do, as she was a huge fan of tats herself. I've decided to start kinda small, probably on my left shoulder blade, & it's going to be of Hello Kitty, whom I've adored since I was a little girl. Best of all, she was "born" exactly the same year as me - yup, 1974!! Do any of you know if there are any SGs with Hello Kitty tats, & if so, what their names are?? I'd love to have a look at some of their pix...

I found the pic on the Net, & will probably stick to the same size: 5 centimetres (2 inches) wide. I just hope that you get white ink (not too clued up on these things, I'm afraid...!?!), 'cos I'd like her to look EXACTLY as is, if possible. I'm now just waiting for the quote from Mr Lucky. Speaking of which, I'm a bit concerned about him, actually, as he hasn't replied to the email I sent to his studio yesterday. Nor has he updated his journal since 1st Jan. I guess I'll give him till Monday to respond, then I'll try send him an SMS (text message) on his cell (mobile) & see what happens. I haven't met him in person yet, but he sounds so lovely! Am sure we'll get on like a house on fire

I have replied to your mail, and am exited to meet and tattoo you, I hope you find it all in order, as for getting on like a house on fire, we do already, and meeting will only cement our freindship further. I can't wait.
