Had a nice, chilled braai (BBQ) at Richard's new place last night. It is absolutely MASSIVE. A double-storey farmhouse-style dwelling with a huge garden. It's a buttercup yellow with a red tiled roof. I'm sure it was originallly thatched.

As lovely & homely as it feels, it is definitely too big for one person, though. Damnit man, it's just so not right that he has to rattle around in that big old house alone! It was supposed to be filled with the laughter of friends & family, the pitter patter of little "VanWhealKatwijk" feet & the sound of Angie's voice calling out to him from the kitchen. My heart absolutely bleeds for him. He told us that he is due to start counselling this coming week (offered free through Sunninghill Hospital), & that Angie's mom has opened a police case against the medical fraternity. They are still awaiting the results of Angie's toxicology report...

I had some weird dreams about Angie last night. Maybe it had something to do with the number of Heinekins I consumed (?!), maybe not. I can't seem to remember the details right now. I just know that I woke up feeling a bit unnerved.
