just finished playing, and i cant sleep.
We have just played the forum in tunbridge wells.
Battle of the bands thing. We got 139 points. Which is second place out of the 70 bands that have played so far.
The other bands rocked too, but tonight was our night. I felt good right from this morning.
Anyways, i love my band, i love playing music, i wish i was a proper pro musician, and i will die trying to acheive that goal.........probably.
If you have not checked out some of the bands around tunbridge wells then check out "9-volt". They have the coolest frontman in teh business. He is full on Jerry Cantrell cool. And that is cool. They play full on rockin alice in chains influenced stuff and i love every minute of their sets. I wanna be their other guitarist.
Also check out "Life sentance". their frontman is also a stud. Now i am not gay, but those two frontmen have got sex appeal. Even a boring old hetero like me can see that. They are both gonna go far.
Makes me feel really ugly in comparison, but i got a different kind of thing going on. By necessity, not by choice mind you. If i could do pretty boy then i would.....believe me.
Anyways, had a good night and need to bable on about it to all of you sexy people in the hope that someone SG based will spot it and come see us int he next round. The band is call VANISHING POINT, like the movie. I dont drive a challenger (yet) but i like the movie anyways and seemed ot be a good name......blah blah enough
