Bad news: My FAFSA account has been fucked up, so it seems that I won't be able to attend school next semester.
Good News: I'm sick of my school, so I'm taking this as an omen that it's time to get off my ass and start taking a serious look at those other schools I've been jabbering about. It's a relief to know that another bad part of my life is coming to an end, as I would have to attend classes at the main campus, and the town it's in has too many bad memories for me. Things are moving in place again, and it's a comfort that I needed right now.
Sort of Good News: I finally figured out a few plot complications that have been preventing me from starting my novel. The whole thing came to me in the shower, and I immediately dried off and typed out my best stuff over the following three hours. I think I finally have something that can get me somewhere.
