Updating just because the last entry was nothing more than venting, and I wanted something a bit more pleasant next to the tree frog pic in time for people to stop by here. If you're craving angsty and pissed off, then I guess you could click back one.

I really need to set time aside to make some real progress on the book. January has slipped past me, and I have next to nothing to show for it. I guess I'm going to have to leave the pool hall in the sole hands of my brother until I get caught up on my work while staying ahead in school. Hopefully it won't be too much of a wreck by the time I come back.

I have this weird feeling that my headaches are due to lack of sex; I used to get tension headaches all the time during dry spells for some reason, but I just started having them again in the past few weeks. In a completely unrelated note: is anyone free this weekend?

The ice has finally melted away, and the snows have been light and infrequent. This could be the first winter that I didn't hit black ice and pull off a daring yet successful 720 in my car. That would be good, because I'm certain my luck is going to run out one of these days.
