I'm worn out.
Got up at noon (alarm didn't go off) and went to the pool hall. My brother decided to sleep in as opposed to getting the money that our nephew stole from us. The renovations that he waited on until the last minute were behind even his procrastinating schedule. Spent the day painting, panelling, and running out for supplies. Finally got everything started around 7pm. Then I found out the tap we rented was a piece of shit: it needed to be pumped furiously while pouring. The place we got were out of taps, so we got gypped. There's nothing more invigorating then spending half a night kneeling on a wet carpet furiously jacking off a beer keg to keep up with demand. Things were profitable for the first few hours, but eventually the hard liquor ran out and my employees were either too drunk or horny to watch the people coming into the door. Seeing this as both a loss of money and a legal threat, I took the money we made and wished my slacking lackeys the best of luck.
Sobriety and exhaustion on New Year's really sucks, but the wad of cash from my cut of the profits eases the pain somewhat. I"m going to bed.
