I took my daughter to see "Spongebob" yesterday. She noticed a sign outside the ticket booth that depicted a lined-out circle with a picture of a pirate in the middle. After we bought our tickets, she peered over the counter and told the ticket girl, "You know pirates don't exist, right?"

I honestly don't remember much about this month. According to my syllabus, I've kept up with my schoolwork, although I may have opted to sleep at home instead of going to a couple classes without mandatory attendence policies. I'm paranoia about forgetting anything important, as I've been doing too many things right without incident for too long. Maybe one day I'll learn to accept my competency and just fucking relax.

The big ass paper is due Wednesday, but I still want to polish it some more after I write another paper tonight at work. When school is over for the year, I think I may feel lost and confused for a bit, as I did over the summer.

Speaking of work, I should probably start moving towards it instead of doing this journal update. It's been a slow weekend though, so it's very likely I'll need extra caffeine to stave off the boredom of a customerless shift, since the paper shouldn't take more than an hour or two.
