Ok, I deliberated and chosen.

Thanks for all the ideas...most of them were really good, but they didn't really fit me. I almost decided on walking_swedish_murder_machine in homage to my new animated hero, but it wouldn't fit.

Anyway, the name...

It's never really bothered me before, but lately the French-hating has gotten thick, especially around here. Granted, even though I fit the slur, its generally never stirred anything in me other than a chuckle and a wittier comeback. However, the sheer hypocrisy of seeing it here has been chewing at me. While the usual groups have a safe place on this site, any group who doesn't fit the PC protected criteria are free game for those who claim to be open-minded to prattle off bigotry like a Southern Fundamentalist. If any of these asshats bothered to look up the word 'discrimination' in a dictionary instead of screaming it ad nauseum like a parrot, they'd see the flaw in their logic.

This is why I'm doomed to stay in the middle of the road: I can't turn away from all the obvious bullshit and contradictions that both wings have to offer.

Enough of that.

School started, and things are looking optimistic this semester. The philosophy of art classs looks to be the breeze that I predicted it would be, and both my Lit classes are taught by the same instructor, who is also a published
author, so hopefully she'll be able to teach me a few things about breaking into novels. Geography seems painfully dry, but I've been assured that the class is guaranteed pass for just showing up on time. Tomorrow is history, but I took the same professor last year and easily slid into an A. I think this semester should score the long elusive 4.0 at last.
