Mostly boring today, but I'm trying the health thing again. No more smokes, eating right and exercise. I'm doing good so far, but my body is rejecting the vegetables, retaliating with a horrific case of heartburn.

I just had an idea. Remember that scene in Boogie Nights, with the berobed coke dealer sang along with Night Ranger while the Vietnamese love boy walk around lighting firecrackers? That's me if I'm not married 20 years from now. That's going to be sweet! "Sister Christian, what's your price for flight?"

Only an hour until the gym opens, and my ankles are fucking killing me. The tendons in that neighborhood are kinda screwy, so they occasionally like to pull these shenannigans. I'm killing time watching the bats fly around the light outside my window. They're gorging themselves on tasty mosquitos and moths, which helps kept them out of the small gap in my window screen. I think I'll write some more this morning if I have any energy left over after the gym. I've been leaning more toward horror lately, but I think that's more a reflection of my mood than a permanent career choice...but we'll have to see.
