Today was somewhat lazy, but without bad news, I am calling it a success! I tired waking up early to hit the gym today. I went to bed extra early, and I did wake up...but I was feeling incredibly weak and sluggish. I have decided to change strategies and try to reset my internal clock. This will mean staying up all night, hitting the gym at 5 am, and falling asleep sometime around 8am. I figure if I do not have anything important to do during the day (which I have not) then there is no reason to stay up through it. As long as I hit the gym regularly again and perhaps start writing again, then it will be worth it. I was writing the book under those hours, so my latter reason is slightly more important to me, if not as likely.

Update:

I'm on page six of a short story that I had only came up with yesterday. It's weird that something that new in my mind is what has broken my block, while all the ideas I've been struggling with for weeks and month remain in limbo. It's just odd. Anyway, I have a good rhythm going right now, so I'm getting back to it.

Update again:

I just got back from the gym. Other than thoroughly pissing off the tendonitis in my ankles, I did okay for the first time in a couple weeks. I ended producing 12 pages tonight, and the story isn't even finished yet. I hope it doesn't run too long for solicititation; I have everything mentally prepared except for the ending. I think I may muck about some more online and then shower and hit the hay.
