Ok, one person liked the close-up eye pic, and no persons have told me it sucks (not counting myself). So it will stay until I figure how to take decent pics of myself.
I'm pretty sure my anti-WV (it wouldn't let me title it 'WV must be destroyed!') isn't going to go through. It's a damn shame, because I was hoping to hear some interesting horror stories about those hapless souls who found themselves in my neck of the woods (Wrong Turn!).
Easter was pretty good. Inconviently timed, since I have a lot of homework to do, but otherwise good. Big dinner, seeing the family, playing with the kids...good stuff. My sisters decided that the several pounds of candy that the Bunny brought my daughter wasn't enough, so she has about 3 baskets to take home to her mom, where no doubt a similiarly awesome haul still awaits. That's going to be one hell of sugar bender.
Oh, another thing of interest to note: when I picked my daughter up on friday afternoon, I found her wearing one of those god-awful yuppy kid harnesses. My ex explains this was punishment for running laps around the altar at last weeks church services, so she decided the best solution was to walk her like a dog. She also told me that I was legally obligated to keep this on her until the time of punishment (end of the weekend) was over, but she didn't have to wear it while in the car or the house. So this weekend, we spent most of our time in the car or in a house. I have a problem with those harness-leash things on so many levels, and I'm really shocked that my ex would try anything this drastic (or forward, come to think of it). Really hoping this'll be the last time I see that damned, legally obligated, barbaric thing.
Oh, and it has Elmo on the front of it, in case we needed anymore evidence to prove that he's in league with evil forces.

Pixies fan, huh? Did you see they are on tour now? Tickets here in Mpls sold out before most people I know had even heard about the show. I hear they are adding dates and will probably come back thru here. Yipee!
