I'm like a piano wire, lately. I go to work and I'm nervous and tense becasue I work in a sea of republican catholic money-worshippers who i simply cannot trust. I come home and I'm nervous and tense because she is probably leaving and i cant do anything to stop it. Damnit, I just wanna relax for a little while. Any ideas?? (Please exclude stroking...

damn. there go my suggestions.

well, how about a re-read of lord of the rings? that will, at least, distract you until you get the liscence back. any author will do, of course, the main point: immerse yourself.

not that ignoring problems helps make them go away; but if you cannot solve them in such a tense state, you need to relax before you can deal with them. how can you relax if you are constantly worried about them? distract yourself with worthwile endeavors.

hey man, i want to talk about the "she" stuff, it really hurts me to know that she may go, im so sorry to hear that and if there is anything i can do, please don't hesitate to ask, as you may know, jessica and i are no more and it is amazing how you can be so blind to how you stand with someone and not realize it until they are gone

I really hate the fact that there is an unrealistic standard for womens beauty. The fact that a lot of women feel they have to have surgery just to feel good about themselves is Totally Fucked. I could write a book on this topic but I won't.

the answer to your query, my friend... deserves a new journal entry.

it will be submitted as a comment to your next entry.

it's just that the current entry reminds me so much of the first Soprano's episode last night, and... ugh...
saul2600:

Nippon-jin restaurantu:

Nobu's (best for sushi, sushimi, green tea ice creamu! on olive, between 170 and hanley)

Ted and Teiko's (on Manchester between brentwood and... uh... 270... kinda general, that... but... good for soba and on the cheap.)

Kobe Steakhouse of Japan (Tokyo?) (+/- 2km of 270 on olive, in a strip mall. Tempanyaki!)

Rubado's (Westport plaza... Tempanyaki, MuthaFucka! best one, at that... 'round these parts.)

Genkhi Desuka!

(hajimumashita)

ok... i give up... that last word is hard to spell, though easy enough to pronounce. it is a ryukyu dialect, anyway, so it will be of little use.

A concept lives in the mind. One thing that people seem to forget is that, no matter how much it dominates our language, the way we look at our world and American culture at large, possession and ownership are merely concepts. They have nothing to do with what is real. If there were some super-sweet radiation wave from space or explosion of liberating concept-culture that...

A fear of death is primitive. Those forms of life that have had a profound and overwhelming fear of their own mortality have always had a greater chance of survival. Due this evolutionary fact, some of the most prolific species on our planet have a crushingly powerful fear of their own death. Simply put, the fear of death is a survival trait and stems solely...

I am not afraid of death, but sometimes when I am in a situation with a lot people I find myself thinking about how one day they will all be dead and how fragile everything really is.

Poetry is the perfect way for people who take themselves too seriously to prevent others from making that same mistake.

There is a fundamental flaw in the concept of money as a medium of exchange: it lasts forever. Using a medium of exchange that has perpetual value is incongruous to the valued items it is meant to represent. Equipment breaks down over time, livestock grows old and dies, crops that go uneaten will rot, the memory of a favor or service performed fades, buildings crumble...

Our universe is nothing more than a vast experiment. There is a Divine Impetus that designed it and brought it in to being, that much is clear as it seems impossible that something would come from nothing. If you consider how common carbon is and you consider the fact that water is one of the most common compounds in the universe and is held by...

I think people would just find some other reason to kill one another. There are already lots of other excuses to choose from for those so inclined. Religion just sounds more civilised to certain fools.
