Listening to: Death of Seasons - A.F.I. - Sing The Sorrow

I thought I should probably explain all these stupid little posts. See, When i realized i could post to my SG journal with a blogging client, i was pretty excitted because I have one i really like, "BlogJet" but for some reason there are problems with Blogjet's ability to understand the "struct" of metaweblog used by SG.
Everytime I make a post it crashes on me. Bummer. I was under the impression that it wasn't posting, but it turns out that it is in fact posting. it just hangs up on the response generated by SG. Now, W. Bloggar has no problem with this. i get a "Post successful" message as soon as i post the entry. i haven't been adventurous enough to try the Custom SG extensions to metaweblog.

Don't get me wrong. I used to consider my SG journal to be second class because i couldn't use the client i wanted to use. the only problem is $$$. I don't pay for Blogger. So i don't much care if it's not going to work right.
ok, undertand why I have such issues?

I pay for SG, so the more use I can get from it the better.

Anyway, the last REAL entry was the one about eh hearing Iwent to for the unemployment hearing. I feel i am starting to get a reputation as an "axeman" at work. I'm exceedingly good at getting people fired. You know, it's always been that way too. there was time at best buy when; if you wanted an employee gone you put him in my department.
Of course i have issues with this. i feel guilty about it sometimes. irey to look at it as my job vs their job. I have a kid and a car and a house. i need the income more than a college kid who works 20 hours a week to pay for beer.

i know that some people must have real needs and real families to support. There was also a time whe nI began to shelter the employees i understood. i say UNDERSTOOD because I had to know they weren't lying to me. If you genuinely had some kind of issue that affected your performance or attendance i would do whatever i could to shelter you from whatever consequences might befall you.
i saved Mike Botti's job i don't know how many times. I tried to save RVD's job but in th end is attendance issues began to affect no tonly the store, but me and my immediate staff. it was one thing if a guy was always five minutes late. But, when he calle dme at 3:45 to tell me he was ging to be late for his 2:30 shift.... it just got out of hand. They ler him go and tehre was little I could or would do to stop it. You know what I mean? there comes a time when people stop respecting you for looking out for someone, and start to ask why you let them get away with crap.

I suppose that's part of my i seem so merciless now. it's not at all that I am heartless. i just like having a job and i don;t want to jeopardixe that because some part time cashier can't follow the policies.
oh well. I'm tired. i gotta sleep

If I had the power I'd gladly do your dirty work. I can understand how it must suck from time to time!
