what gives? i was at work tonight and NOTHING went right.
i went to settle the safe in the cash office and I found that it was over by $20.00. I recounted the safe and all the register tills to make sure none of them were off. I couldn't find the discrepancy so i had Traver come in and verify my count. after one more recount Traver watched me count out piles of cash into $100.00 stacks and we were indeed over by $20.00.
After all the front end sellers took their tills down we still didn't balance. I recounted the safe again in front of traver and it balanced. WTF?!? where did the $20.00 go?
Oh well.
Then it came time to make the bank deposit and i was off by about $.06, so i went back and reviewed all the drawer close counts. the girl i call "field reporter" has made an error that threw off the whole process.
took about thirty minutes to figure it all out but we finally got to exit the store so i set the alarm. The gizmo gives you sixty seconds to exit and then in about thirty seconds more it gives you a confirmation chirp. Well, we waited and waited and waited some more and there was no chirp. i aksed Gavoral if he heard it go and he said he didn't hear it either. So i started to dial the number for the alarm compnay and wouldn't you know it that's when it finally gave a chirp.
My Car Steroe acted up today as well. Shame about that because I love it. It matches my car perfectly. the illumination is the right color and the stereo itself matches my dash, both in color and in styling. Rare that is. Oh well i can't be bothered to replace it right now.. I'll have to find another kenwood that matches. this thing has been in three cars so i can't bitch about it finally dying.
we are short a closer tomorrow night so i guess I get to try again to get everything running smoothly.

could be worse...it could be "the buy!" and it could have been worse still, field reporter could've been off by more than 6 cents. only off by 6 cents is damn good for her dumb ass. Well I suppose I am closing with you tomorrow night so I'll see you when I get in @ 2. EF O'MAX!
