so i ganked my sis's scanner last night. and it was definitely like a james bond style mission. it was 10:30pm, i'd just gotten out of work, and it started down pouring! i had to run into the house, sneak downstairs and grab it. then i ran back outside and put it in my trunk. then i ran back to the house and nonchalantly walked back in as if i had just gotten there. i stocked up on leftovers and canned goods, and my sis invited me to go shopping with her during the week sometime. then i left and had to drive home in the pouring rain. wait, did i say drive, it was more like surf! the ground was covered in like 3 inches of rain, and my car is so small and light it was hydroplaning all over the place! and when i got back to my place i was so afraid that the water was just going to wash my car away down the hill! that's how much water was running down it! but i got the scanner.. so i guess it was all worth it. but i can't find any of my pictures! the one i put up is one from over 2 years ago. that's me and brody dalle from the distillers.. my all time favorite band! the license plate on my car says "dstilers" for distillers..
and the picture is kind of blurry.. but hopefully i can go thru and unpack some more boxes and find some more updated pictures of myself. if not, i'll just go gank my sister's digital camera and take some pics, haha..
i've been feeling a little better. not so feverish anymore. i think i just needed to get out of the house.. so going to work helped. i still have a headache (nothing alittle smoke session won't fix), and i can't stop shaking, but i'm going to go make myself some soup or chili.. and watch The Last Unicorn (which i also took from my sister's room, haha).
just thought i should stop by and give a little update
oh yeah, and they finally took the damn combo lock off the front door and opened it and gave us our keys! woot woot! so now, nick and i are going to go to home depot in good ole tewksbury and make copies for candice and marshall. we can finally lock our door! good thing too since we live in "cracktown usa" aka lowell,ma. did you know that they did a study, and lowell is known as the crack capital of the united states. no lie. not anything to be too proud of, but just a random factoid!
i was hoping on going to see alien vs predator tonight with some of the other sgboston ppl, but i totally forgot that i'm supposed to be throwing a newbury comics pancake dinner at my place tonight. oops ! they reminded me last night at work.. so i'll be doing that. if they all decide to show up. they said if the rain kept up they weren't going to drive over, so we'll see i guess.
well, i'm off.. have to go eat, watch TLU, and go to home depot.
