So I was in Pittsburgh this past weekend visiting a friend of mine. Getting out of this shit hole in Ohio.. Oh man I felt like a completely new person. I met so many new people, and they were ALL welcoming, and hospitable, and generous, and just all around good people. If Pittsburgh wasn't so crowded and I didn't have agoraphobia, it might have been perfect for me. But I guess it's not, so hopefully I'll find similar people elsewhere. Big cities just aren't for me.
I had so much fun though, oh man. I'm gonna go back and visit all of them as soon as I can :]

I live a few minutes from South Padre Island. If you stay away from major holidays it should be not so packed and a really fun place to be.

Yeah i love hitting up padre as much as possible. It's a very laid back atmosphere, and you can beat waking up to the sound of the waves crashing on to the shore. I highly recommend it.
