Kinda nervous.
There has been severe flooding here and we're on the floodplain. The house is actually below water level right now, only the levy is keeping us from being wet. The water is at a level "never before reached," something like 20 times its normal volume. We've hauled everything out of the basement.
I went to Prince's Island to check out the damage. The island has been split in two by the river. One of the dams that creates the lagoon has been washed out and there is a cool little miniature Niagra Falls going on.
They have the waterworks out draining the river that used to be Memorial Drive.
Fun day.
