Back in town after a week at the lake, and then another week hosting visitors from overseas. Trying to get back in the swing of things (it's great to have time with my cat 
) but more visitors on the way.
While I love time seeing my friends, one learns to appreciate quiet time too.
And Oh Jesus : The mob of tourists that were in town for the 4th ! I wanted to take my friends to see some intimate places I love in the mountains, but when we got there we literally had to turn around and go home, the crowds were that bad.
This living in a trendy "destination"- type town is really starting to get old.
Particularly when I had years here when it was quiet as a tomb, and no one had even the slightest idea of where you were talking about when you mentioned it's name.
