I'm at Tim Hortons yesterday getting a coffee for myself and a friend.
I notice that the girl behind the counter is new, she's got the "Trainee" badge on. I know right off the bat that it's going to be a bit of a struggle with my order, even though it's fairly simple. I'm used to it and completely okay with it.
I get my ice cap and I'm waiting for my friend's coffee, so I'm standing to the side.
This guy, much bigger than me, maybe 10 - 15 years older, comes up to order a coffee.
"Can I get a double double with 2 cream and 2 nutrasweet?"
Now, this girl is new, so she's a little confused. Maybe it's her first day, or maybe she's just never had this asked of her before. So she asks for clarification. He asks again, and I can hear the impatience in his voice.
So just before she gets the coffee, she just wants to confirm, and you can hear in her voice how nervous she is, she's just confused and unsure.
Well buddy decides he's going to take this opportunity to vent out his frustrations with this girl and pops out with...
"JESUS CHRIST. I said a double double with cream and 2 NUTRA SWEETS"
Well, fuck him. I wasn't just going to stand there, so I told him in not such a nice voice
"Listen man, she's new, she's got a trainee badge, give her a break, okay?"
Apparently that's not what he wanted to hear =/
He turned to me and said "FUCK OFF and get OUT OF MY FACE" with his crazy eyes. He even pointed at me with his finger.
What the fuck?
I just shook my head, got my coffee and left. The people behind were a bit astonished as well and shaking their heads, partially laughing at his stupidity.
What the fuck is wrong with people?
ON another note, I fucking hate allergies.
I blame the west coast of Canada. Just because it's easy to Blame Canada <insert song here>
So about 3 years ago I was eating some cherries and noticed that my lips and ears were itching, and I was like huh. So I did some research and found this stupid fucking thing called "Oral Allergy Syndrome"
Basically it means that almost all fruit is off limits for me unless I want to have a mostly severe reaction. Cherries top out that list and, as of a few days ago, I realized the fucking mango is right the hell up there.
MANGO. I LOVE MANGO.
Even this mango:
No, especially that Mango.
But see, I didn't realize how bad my allergy was. I had 2 over the span of 2 days.
Well, now I look like Angelina Jolie with my fucked up lips and they're so cracked it's just... UGH. Fuck!!

Allergies suck! The West Coast *is* really bad for that. I work at the base of a regional park, and man, I'm all stuffleuppagus. Feel better
