Wow That is some sweet digi-painting. I'm not even going to attempt to achieve anything along the lines of a realistic portrait I lack the patience.

Oh, or those drop-something-in-glass-and shoot the splashing. It's overdone, but the frozen movement of the water is just so fun and interesting. The same with smoke, you never know what interesting swirls it'll make
