Even though there arent enough woman in the dance music band Scissor Sisters to actually accomplish a real scissor sisters they still rock out. They first came to attention in the UK with their cover of the Pink Floyd song Comfortably Numb that is on their self titled album. Now the New York based bands popularity is on an upswing that will begin with their...

Excellent Walken interview sir. Did he really smell musty? I figured he'd be a dapper gentlemen.

After House of Pain had their few big hits in the early 90s, everyone thought they would just disappear. For a while, they actually did. Then Everlast [born Erik Schrody] really kicked out the jams, and turned up the heat on the rap world with 1998s Whitey Ford Sings the Blues. However, while recording, he suffered a massive cardiac arrest stemming from a congenital defect,...

Nice interview. I don't know if I would be offended or complimented by the "Freaky SG Bitches" part or not...if I was an SG.

Typical Irish Rap Thug. tongue

I always enjoyed the Irish side of his music, however I think that many performers (musicians, actors) should never speak publicly, outside their mediums. Rollins and Biafra though, are two great excecptions.

I figured that Selma Blair would be a pretty cool chick. Shes not some bloated and pretentious movie star that only does movies set in the 16th century or biographies of the first women to walk on the moon. Instead Blair does nutty independent films like Storytelling with Todd Solondz and her big budget studio film Hellboy has the added factor of geek director, Guillermo...

RJD2 is being touted as the next big thing in many different magazines. For once in music history this statement actually means something because RJD2 is fucking amazing. His beats and samples are so tight that if his new album, Since We Last Spoke, was a bed youd be able to bounce a quarter seven leagues into the air from it. Originally from Ohio, RJD2...

Seems like this thread is a bit old, but it was at the top of the list.

I loved Deadringer and Since We Last Spoke. The Soul Position stuff, that Aceyalone album and the mixtapes are all great.

But I HATE the third hand. I guess I was just expecting something else (something good). that was an album i actually pre-ordered. i dont know if it was just the fact that it wasn't hip hop djing, but there is only 1 or 2 tracks on the entire thing that are even worth a second listning.

Outside of that I have seen him live a few times and he does put on a great show.

You absolute legend. I would be well hyper if I met him. Haha no tact when it comes to meeting dj's.
I first heard the Horror in 2003, it's awesome.

I well didn't realise he had been interviewed on here!

Adam Reed has done what nearly everyone in Hollywood has wanted to do which is co-creating a very popular show that hits the demographic with the money. College students all over America have said that they enjoy such shows as "The Simpsons," "Family Guy," "Futurama," "South Park" and "Sealab 2021."

Adam Reed and Matt Thompson are the co-creators of Adult Swims Sealab 2021. Cartoon Network...

The Motorcycle Diaries is one of the best films of the year. You dont need to know anything about Che Guevara going into this film. All you need to know is that you will experience every emotion during this film. The interplay between the two stars is hysterical and real and will remind you of every road trip you have ever been on. Then when...

When people think independent filmmaker Im sure people like Quentin Tarantino or Kevin Smith pop into their head but I consider Miramax one of those mini-majors. But no one represents indie filmmaking like John Sayles. He started his career writing movies like Piranha and Alligator for Roger Corman, then segued into directing with Return of the Secaucus 7. Since then he has written and directed...

John Sayles and Jim Jarmusch are the lone American filmmakers who have consistently maintained my respect for their body of work in the last 20 or so years.

There are few who write such terrific dialogue for such diverse characters as he presents in his films, and he seems to be one of the only directors left that is willing to actually sit back and allow actors to act.

Kind of a sad commentary that this interview has been up all these hours and has so few responses. Perhaps he should employ more jump cuts and mood lighting into his films, or just change his name to Fincher in order to earn some notice from people around here.

Thanks alot for this wonderful interview.

I'm glad DRE got the interview, but when the director of Casa de los Babys says the director he feels he most resembles is David Lean, you have to question his judgement and possibly his sanity.

Here's an assessment by a fellow liberal.

I got to interview Christopher Walken in person and of course, the most important thing about the man is that he starred in the David Cronenberg film, The Dead Zone. We got a chance to talk a little bit about that. Walken walked into the room and seemed like he was almost surprised to be there. He was dressed in like a sweat suit and...

Christopher Walken is one of the few actors I think truly is an actor. Unfortunately, the rest are all about the same age too. Hollywood nowadays are just pretty faces. Chris can act, sing and dance. That used to be the requirements of an actor.

And why is it I read the interview and I still hear him saying it?! It's like he's in my head, talking!

He was dressed in like a sweat suit and he smelled a bit musty. But that's not right to complain about because he's 61 years old and when you get that age things happen to your body that you can't control.

I don't really understand what the point of mentioning this was. The sweat suit thing..ok, but the smelling musty??? That just seems a bit rude to mention and I hope that he doesn't read this otherwise he might not do a future interview...*shrug*

I didn't understand that bit either. whatever

I think what she's trying to say is, she's not used to smelling the awesomeness which was in her presence.
