When I got to talk to Legs McNeil the subject was supposed to be the Don Letts documentary Punk: Attitude thats airing on the Independent Film Channel, but he didnt seem too interested in that. The subject was changed many times, from computer games to the upcoming film adaptation of his book Please Kill Me: The Oral History of Punk Rock. But since I was...

Since Michael Pitt first made his big splash in films like Bully and Hedwig and the Angry Inch, many journalists have been calling him the next big thing in acting. With performances in The Dreamers and Wonderland he may just be proving them right.

Now he is a playing a Kurt Cobain like rock star in Gus Van Sants Last Days.

Check out the official...

The great thing about Tim Roth is that he immediately puts you at ease by seeming like he doesnt give a shit what questions you ask him. Other journalists at the Dark Water press event were lobbing some of the dumbest crap I ever heard at him and even though there 25 people in the room he answered them as though each one was the...

Tim is great, and we don't see nearly enough of him in movies frown

Tim Roth in Rob Roy may be the greatest thing ever in a movie . Watch it now if you haven't seen it yet . Just a perfect playing of a " villain " which actually gives reason that he is the way he is . And he was almost the only reason to watch Four Room more then once .

Home Movies co-creator Brendon Small and I have a lot in common. Were nearly the same age, we were both fat kids and we love to watch bad movies. I got a chance to talk with Small about the Season Two DVD set of Home Movies that was just released. But we ended up mostly chatting about the worst movies ever.

Get Home Movies Season...

Murderball is definitely one of the most unique documentaries you will see this year. Its about quadriplegic rugby players who slam into one another with their wheelchairs. Sounds insane but it won the Documentary Audience Award and a Special Jury Prize for Editing at the 2005 Sundance Film Festival. It follows a few storylines; one is the story of Mark Zupan, the craziest guy on...

Hollywood is supposed to have all these geniuses in it but you wouldnt know by most of the crap that comes out in the movies and television. There is a tiny corner of Los Angeles with brilliant people doing nutty works and thats at Channel 101.

Channel 101 was created by Dan Harmon and Rob Schrab, the very funny guys who wrote and produced...

The real Jennifer Connelly fans have always known that on top of being one of the most gorgeous people on Earth she is also a brilliant actor. But it took until her Oscar win for A Beautiful Mind that people finally took notice of her.

Her latest flick, Dark Water, is a remake of the Japanese horror film of the same name. Connelly plays Dahlia...

Tim Burtons new film, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, is his best work since 1994s Ed Wood. I would say that casting Johnny Depp as the obsessive compulsive child hating Willy Wonka is an inspired choice but since this is their fourth collaboration that point appears to be moot. Depp has totally and completely entered himself into Roald Dahls universe and given himself over to...

Actually there are some Screamers boots out there (the mostly easily available being the 2-CD retrospective "In a Better World") as well as a legit live DVD featuring a live show (originally released by Target Video) and some extras released by MVD. Very cool beans indeed. smile
Oh yeah, the show was good as well.
