I've had a fantastic weekend spent with my friend Ali in Denver. We saw friends play shows Friday and Saturday, and met up with our 303 crew. Lotsa fun, lotsa Jager, even made an appointment to get matching toe-tag tattoos with Ali the day after Jef finishes my wings in July. Mmmm...I can't wait to feel those needles prick...
Really, this is one of the most memorable weekends in a long time. We saw my friend Eric's band To Be Eaten, then watched my neighbor's reggae band play, all before heading to the Ogden to watch Mix Master Mike of the Beastie's spin for about 10 minutes. And that's when the night took off at the Garage bar at 10th and Bannock. I love that place, and it's really a garage. Saturday we ate at Denver's only Vegan/Vegetarian restaurant WaterCourse as Ali's vegan. Was scrumptous, even ate their today again.
Last night we watch 3oh!3 open for Grace Gale where I got the shit smashed out my back whilst hardcore dancing with all the youngsters and proceeded to bite the shit out of my tongue. Tons of fun nonetheless. Then we hit The Wave for some Industrial, EBM, and general catiness from a trio of relentless, young vampira's that want to suck the very essence from my veins and leave me dry, broken, and in utter ruin....FUCK THAT! They can keep their "Stdses" to themselves as Butters would say! I don't have time for bitches and their one-way monologues...it's all a production, it's all just a show...without the drama they could not possibly exist. So as desired boys and girls alike...use them and abuse them! But not me, I'll just excise them...excise all weakness.
