I've had two outstanding evenings this week...on Wednesday I met two new friends atThe Shelter in Denver and we had a blast... and last night I was visited by a dark, little stranger on stilts, which made for a warm evening of conversation and libation of vertiginous height...These days the butterfly collection shimmer's in the light, only to return to this meeting place.

The early week was mind crushing, felt like I'd been lobotimized, perhaps even poisoned by all the pollen in the air. I love spring, but I want to cut my nose off in exchange for a normal one. That or take a buzz saw and cut down the blossoming, beauties outside my condo, then burn them to ash ...

Found out I did extremely well on two of the three exams I took this week , and I should have the Physiology results back on Monday after I dissect Garfield, my lab cat. He's been my formalda-bud since January and oh how odiferous and dank he smells ...now...in late April...Rigga-what?

Today I may go for a run, it is really beautiful here this time of year...perhaps I'll go to the gym and run inside, maybe lift...that's always safer than sucking in billions of microscopic pollens . sneeze.

Tonight I will meet the muse for a midnight showing of Napolean Dynamite at The Esquire in Denver, and no doubt meet some interesting people, it's a birthday bash...not the mon-star mash...
